چکیده

Tooth development is a multi-stage and multi-step process involving fate determination morphogenetic patterning events, epithelial-mesenchymal interactions, cell proliferation, differentiation, migration. Animal model studies have shown that YAP TAZ, effectors of the Hippo pathway, critical function in tooth morphogenesis. However, TAZ has not been well documented its specific roles morphogenesis remain unclear. We used immunohistochemistry to examine localization mouse mandibular first molar germ. ICR embryos on days E12, E14 E18 were produced. Heads from these processed for paraffin embedding prepared immunohistochemistry. Immunostaining showed different development. was localized odontogenic epithelium early stages germ, but almost observed. also positive pre-ameloblasts or inner enamel epithelium, which high columnar cells. On other hand, odontoblasts epithelium. These results demonstrated functional differences between development, suggested proteins only involved hard tissue formation, three-dimensional cusp during

Sequential expressions of Notch1, Jagged2 and Math1 in molar tooth germ of mouse.

The Notch signaling pathway is an evolutionary conserved mechanism that plays an important role in cell-cell communication and cell fate in a wide range of tissues. The mammalian family of Notch receptors consists of 4 members: Notch1/2/3/4. The Notch ligand family consists of 5 members: Delta1/3/4 and Jagged1/2. Math1 encodes a murine basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor that act...

Immunohistochemical Examination for the Distribution of Podoplanin-Expressing Cells in Developing Mouse Molar Tooth Germs

We recently reported the expression of podoplanin in the apical bud of adult mouse incisal tooth. This study was aimed to investigate the distribution of podoplanin-expressing cells in mouse tooth germs at several developing stages. At the bud stage podoplanin was expressed in oral mucous epithelia and in a tooth bud. At the cap stage podoplanin was expressed on inner and outer enamel epithelia...

Ectopic Location of Permanent Tooth Germ Accompanied by Infraocclusion of Primary Second Molar

We report the delayed eruption and infraocclusion of a mandibular second primary molar with ectopic location of the permanent successor. This was a rare case where the second premolar was located to the distal side of the impacted mandibular second primary molar. Early intervention is recommended to manage orofacial disfigurement and prevent consequent problems.

Hippo-YAP/TAZ signaling in angiogenesis

Angiogenesis is a complex, multistep process involving dynamic changes in endothelial cell (EC) shapes and behaviors, especially in specialized cell types such as tip cells (with active filopodial extensions), stalk cells (with less motility) and phalanx cells (with stable junction connections). The Hippo-Yes-associated protein (YAP)/ transcription activator with PDZ binding motif (TAZ) signali...

A Computational Model of YAP/TAZ Mechanosensing.

In cell proliferation, stem cell differentiation, chemoresistance, and tissue organization, the ubiquitous role of YAP/TAZ continues to impact our fundamental understanding in numerous physiological and disease systems. YAP/TAZ is an important signaling nexus integrating diverse mechanical and biochemical signals, such as ECM stiffness, adhesion ligand density, or cell-cell contacts, and thus s...
